Location: We have 2,000 acres of prime whitetail deer, turkey, and quail habitat near Wadley, Alabama on the Tallapoosa River. This family land has been trophy managed for deer over 15 years. We limit the number of hunters to 24/year. We have only 4-5 hunters "in camp" at any one time. This light hunting pressure means big rewards for our clients! We will continue that light pressure.

We allow the harvest of some immature bucks (age 2&1/2 or 3&1/2) if they are 8 or better and ear wide. The hunter success ratio (for trophies harvested per man day hunted) exceeds the Alabama average for trophy operations. Our buck/doe ratios are high. Our weight/age ratios are above average. We will continue to limit hunter exposure and size harvest (eight or better and ear wide) to ensure this history will continue. Our turkey population has an “above average” multiple beard incidence and the weights are at, or above, the SE Eastern Wild Turkey average.
